Update 12/21/2020: The home of the Wiznet Configurator for Mac has moved to the Mac Home Automation site. There is a new version hosted there which is fully notarized for Catalina and newer as well as having native code for Apple Silicon.
This version also adds the ability to save and restore configurations to disk.
previous entries with more information here and before that here. XTension is my day job and is Home Automation and Security software for the Macintosh.
new download links:
Wiznet Configurator MacOS Universal
Wiznet Configurator Linux
I must have missed the link, but can you point to the published (corrected) instructions for talking to and configuring these boards? Would you be willing to share the source code for the Mac configurator?
ReplyDeleteI am trying to use it to control a Kenwood TS-480 ham radio transceiver. What is maddening is that the radio and software require CTS/RTS for commands to work, but if the radio is turned off (either by power switch or software power down command) you have to "wake it up" via serial WITHOUT flow control.
This is a real pain as I don't know of any way to trivially reconfigure the WIZ110SR remotely from flow control to no flow control and back.
Thank you! Saved me having to boot my Windows VM
ReplyDeleteHi, also here to thank you for this tool and to request that you might publish the source code on GitHub. Thanks!
